The Scotia Police Benevolent Association and Scotia Permanent Firefighters Association are proud to announce the 6th Annual Scotia Police & Fire Tournament!

Over the past five years, this tournament has raised nearly $70,000 to support local youth organizations, school programs, community events, families in need, and other initiatives that make Scotia and Glenville such a great place to live.

๐Ÿšจ SNOW EMERGENCY DECLARED ๐Ÿšจ

The Village of Scotia has declared a Snow Emergency effective 12:00 PM on Sunday, January 25, 2026, due to expected severe winter weather.

โš ๏ธ IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
โ„๏ธ No Parking on Village Streets or Lots
โ€ข Parking is prohibited on all Village streets, roads, highways, and Village-owned parking lots during the snow emergency.
โ€ข Vehicles parked in violation may be ticketed and towed.

๐Ÿšœ Snow Removal Operations
โ€ข Plowing will begin January 25, 2026 and continue until all roads are cleared.
โ€ข Please avoid driving unless absolutely necessary to allow crews to work safely and efficiently.

๐Ÿš— Travel Advisory
โ€ข Residents are urged to stay off the roads unless travel is essential.
โ€ข Snow and ice accumulation may make conditions hazardous, especially overnight.

๐Ÿงค Safety Tips
โ€ข Keep emergency supplies on hand (blankets, food, water, flashlight).
โ€ข Clear sidewalks and driveways regularly.
โ€ข Drive carefully and leave extra space between vehicles.

โฐ Duration:
The Snow Emergency will remain in effect until 7:00 AM on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
