Happy Friday! This week our program coordinators Bella and Jacky visited Maraba Primary School and Obingo Primary School in Kenya. They taught 303 students, 160 girls and 143 boys. Each girl received a kit and a calendar after the lesson!

Our Uganda coordinator, Phoebe, held a teacher training workshop this past weekend to help our teachers better deliver the menstrual management and reproductive health curriculum! ❤️

Here’s a statement from Bella in Kenya, who attended:

“Greetings! We’re back from Uganda, and we thank God for traveling mercies. We held workshops for two days, where we learned and shared a lot with our new Moon Catcher friends we met there. We’re deeply grateful for the opportunity. May God bless you and the entire Moon Catcher project. Thank you!” ❤️

Congratulations to our board Co-Vice President Randi Broadwell for being named a recipient of the 2026 Regeneron Volunteers of the Year Award for her work with The MoonCatcher Project!

Randi continuously goes above and beyond to support our organization with her extensive knowledge and expertise, and we are so lucky to have her! Thank you Randi for all you do! 😊

Mark your Calendars! Ellie’s Annual Birthday Bash is happening again. Join us to celebrate with cake and punch and bring a gift for Ellie! What does she want?? Disposable menstrual supplies of course. This year all donations will be used to stock our Period Pantries.

Every year, MCP hosts Ellie’s Birthday Bash to raise awareness about period poverty in our community. Last year we gave out over 63,000 menstrual products through our pantries, and we hope to beat that record this year, but we need your support!

Help us to end period poverty in our community on April 16th!
