Today we had a visit from Author .

He sat with our youth and read his book Talking to the Moon, and held a discussion and even worked with them on artwork afterwards. We appreciate DC for stopping in and taking time to hang out with us, our youth loved it.

Thank you DC 🙏🏾

Yesterday wasn’t just a block party… it was COMMUNITY in action.

I want to take a moment to sincerely thank everyone who came out to support the C.O.C.O.A House Community Block Party. From the families, to the youth, to our partners and volunteers—you showed up and showed what unity really looks like.

To see our block filled with laughter, connection, and positive energy… that’s what this work is all about.

This is why we do it.
This is what building community looks like.

To everyone who helped make this happen behind the scenes—setting up, serving food, organizing games, and pouring into our young people—thank you. Your time, your presence, and your commitment does not go unnoticed.

And to our youth… this is for YOU. Always has been.

We’re not just hosting events—
We’re creating spaces where people feel seen, valued, and connected.

💯 Good People
💯 Good Vibes
💯 Stronger Community

Let’s keep building. Together.

Thank you to .cityofschenectady

We don’t just talk about community…
We SHOW UP for it. 💪🏾🌱

On Saturday, April 25th from 12–4PM, we’re coming together to clean up our neighborhood and take pride in the spaces our youth grow up in.

This is bigger than picking up trash.
This is about ownership, unity, and leadership in action.

Every bag we fill…
Every block we clean…
Every young person watching…

That’s how we build a stronger future.
