Lutheran Church Charities K-9 Comfort Dogs are friends who bring a calming influence. Comfort Dogs are available to visit your church or group.

to guide our feet into the path of peace.” Lizzie is a trained LCC K-9 Comfort Dog at Trinity Lutheran Church in Savannah, Georgia. She serves every day in the community in which she is placed and is deployed in times of disaster and crisis to bring comfort to all those affected, including first responders and the volunteers who serve them. Lizzie is a friend who brings a calming influence and allows people to open up their hearts and receive help for what is affecting them.

We always sit on the left side of church, this morning we saw a friend we wanted to sit with on the right side. We confused some people, even Pastor! Church looks different from the other side. I encourage you to try something new, look at something from a different perspective this week ❤️🙏🏼🐾

I had a spa day with my beautician yesterday!
Thank you Animal House Pet Grooming for making me look and feel MAH-VELOUS!
I’ve been off schedule lately while we took care of Ms. Cathy…. but I’m “on the road again” soon!!! (Click the link to go to my groomer’s page , scroll a bit and see behind the scenes pictures)

How about a Throwback Thursday from my first Halloween in Savannah 🎃 My veterinarian’s daughter and the grandsons of a treasured handler couple from my team ❤️ The boys are 13, and almost 17 now. I thank God for every friend & memory I’ve made along the way!

Thank you Julia Comfort Dog for such a beautiful post to bring attention to this day and honor the people and families who make these sacrifices for our country. ❤️🙏🏼🐾

Today is National Day of the Deployed.
Today is our day to say “Thank you!” to all the valiant military members who have served abroad, are making sacrifices, or have given their lives in the line of duty in order to defend our nation. It also recognizes the sacrifices that their families make so that their loved ones can serve our country when they are away from them during deployment.

May the power of faith be strong in our military families. May they feel surrounded by God’s presence, covered by His grace, and uplifted by a nation that not only honors them but also prays for them.

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
