Lizzie Comfort Dog Lutheran Church Charities K-9 Comfort Dogs are friends who bring a calming influence. Comfort Dogs are available to visit your church or group.

Luke 1:78-79 "because of the tender mercy of our God,

to guide our feet into the path of peace.” Lizzie is a trained LCC K-9 Comfort Dog at Trinity Lutheran Church in Savannah, Georgia. She serves every day in the community in which she is placed and is deployed in times of

disaster and crisis to bring comfort to all those affected, including first responders and the volunteers who serve them. Lizzie is a friend who brings a calming influence and allows people to open up their hearts and receive help for what is affecting them.

I neglected to honor some of my most treasured friends….yesterday was National Senior Citizens Day. The beauty is, I don’t have to wait 365 days, I can honor them anytime!! My “seasoned” friends tell the best stories, love with deep wisdom and are really just kids with experience!
Sit down and have a conversation with someone older than you…..there is so much to learn!

It wasn’t “goodbye”, but see you later…… as we gathered to share laughter and tears and memories of precious Kiki. Her life had purpose, we saw love and honest Joy through her eyes and in her smile. I will never forget hearing her squeal out my name when she saw me. I was honored to see a Lizzie stuffy placed gently with her in her casket. 🙏🏼❤️🐾
