We want to hear from you. La FamIliA of Phi Iota Alpha Fraternity, Inc. is a brotherhood composed of undergraduate, graduate, and professional men internationally, established on December 26th 1931. Phi Iota Alpha is the Oldest Latino Fraternity in Existence. We dedicate ourselves toward the empowerment of our Latino community by providing intensive social and cultural programs and activities gear
ed toward the appreciation, promotion and preservation of the Latin American Culture. Although historically all hispanic, Phi Iota Alpha has become a very multicultural organization with the induction of many brothers of Asian, African and European descent. These non hispanic members join for many reasons one main reason being their desire to learn about another culture. We promote and appreciate a diverse brotherhood which adds to one of our greatest strengths of bonding like a true familia. Not only will you learn about Latin America but you will learn more about your self and where you come from as well as many things about your brothers.
