The call resting on every child of God is to recognize and honor the gift of stewardship and to live faithfully to that call. Jesus explained in the parable of the talents how He distributed His goods among His servants. He charged them to be responsible for His property and possessions, and to manage His kingdom affairs while He went away. Upon His return, He promised to reckon with each one according to their gifts and abilities. There is a day coming when we will all stand accountable for what has been entrusted to us as stewards. Peter exhorts us, saying, “As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God” (1 Pet. 4:10). Joel once said, “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you” (Joel 2:25). There are judgments that can seem devastating because of sin and disobedience. Yet we know that the reparations God can bring come only through true repentance. God desires that we participate with Him in His plan of restoration, which is why it is essential that we find our place in Him as true partners seeking to do His will. Paul prayed a very powerful prayer over the church at Philippi. He wrote it out for us, which means this came by the unction of the Spirit, something we must pay close attention to. He said, “That your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment: that ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God” (Phil. 1:9-11). This is our mission as believers. It is a solemn task we must seek to honor and obey.

Each of us was created from the heart of God to be creatures who bear His likeness (Gen. 1:26). This is the whole purpose of our being born again. Bearing His likeness comes from an eternal seed planted in us at the new birth. It is a seed of love so that we can be as He is. In John’s epistle, he writes, “And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love, and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him” (1 John 4:16). If there is anything that clearly marks our salvation, it is that we bear the seed of His likeness by exemplifying His love in both deed and truth (1 John 3:18, 19).

Everything we know concerning the most central message of the gospel encompasses three great truths: reconciliation, restoration, and recovery. This is the mission that we must set our sights on. Everything begins with bringing us back into a right relationship with our heavenly Father. That was Christ’s utmost goal. He is the mediator between God and man. From there comes the discovery and development of all that Christ’s finished work provides. To continue reading copy and paste the link below...

Jesus described four conditions of the soil of our hearts: the wayside, the stony, the thorny, and the good. In His teachings of the Sower and the Seed, He explains how each one of these soils received the Word. It was never a question of whether they heard it or not. What His message is meant to teach us is what is in the hearing. The moment we come under what we hear, that is when we gain the power to pass over to the other side. It is in our humility to come under that we gain the authority to rise above the conditions we face in life. Check out the link below to continue reading...

Every believer is called to live an inspired life. When God breathed His life into man, it was a moment of inspiration, in which man became part of a divine expression of Himself. Jesus explains how this became part of His mission: “I have come that ye might have life and have it more abundantly” (John 10:10). Literally, He was saying, “I have come to fill you with heaven’s breath so you can live life in the inspiration of God.” That is the essence of God’s life living in us. It invokes a supernatural participation in God’s divine inspiration. The more we breathe in this life, the more inspired we become. Click the link below to continue reading....

The more you understand the anointing, the more valuable it becomes to you. John spoke of it, saying, “It is truth, and is no lie” (1 John 2:27). Solomon gave us this wise counsel, saying, “Buy the truth, and sell it not…” (Pro. 23:23). We cannot buy the anointing with money. We can only buy it with commitment. The deeper we go in valuing the anointing as truth, the closer we will come to knowing the truth and the power it holds to make us free...click to read more or visit our website: https://www.fhcsavannah.org
