Today VFW Post 3357 and Auxiliary participated in the VFW Day of Service. Together with Jay from Adirondack Bank, we worked on the Vietnam and Korean War Memorial in Baldwin Park in Saranac Lake. It was a great turn out and we were able to make a difference today! Thank you all for your support.

Commander Joe Fisher of VFW Post 3357 presented Sgt. Luke Cromp with a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of his efforts to assist a Veteran in Crisis. A couple of months ago Sgt Cromp was called to assist a Veteran in Crisis and did so with compassion and empathy going above and beyond to see that the Veteran received resources that he needed. This is just one of many examples of stories of our Officers going above and beyond on a daily basis. Commander Fisher said it best stating that he wouldnt have even known about this happening if he didnt work in the building with the Police Dept. We're proud of the work our Officers do on a daily basis. Well done Sgt Cromp!
