Inside my mind is a tiny courtroom, presided over by a tiny judge. This tiny judge has so much to say on so many topics! Before I discovered the spiritual path, I gave the judge the final say. Not anymore! As I let more Light and Love into my life, the tiny judge has less to say. Even when I am tempted to let the judge rule my mind, I can take a breath and come back to center. The judge is so tiny, and Spirit is so big.

I am so much smarter than I realize. As I build my spiritual awareness, I have access to infinite intelligence. Today I open to this intelligence. When I think I don’t know the answer to a challenge I am facing, I take a minute to get still. I listen deep within for possible solutions. Even if what emerges is merely a feeling, or a symbol, I follow this like a clue, patiently allowing greater awareness to emerge.

Trial and error are part of life. Sometimes I have to experience something several times before I really get it. When a red flag first shows up, I may want to ignore it. And I am certainly free to do so. Indeed, I am free to ignore its flapping redness until I finally realize that ignoring the problem only perpetuates it. With this awareness, I am empowered to make changes.

Living on planet Earth means living with a wide range of experiences. There is peace, and there is war. There is health, and there is sickness. Sometimes, in order to keep myself in a healthy, peaceful place, I need to set boundaries. These boundaries may be physical, mental, or spiritual. Setting boundaries doesn’t make me weak. It makes me strong. I remember that today.

When we first started writing word songs, they were upbeat and a bit goofy. Then we decided to try something a little different.

The result was "Peace, Presence, Power."

The song is a combination of Melissa’s chant "Surrender" and a phrase that came to Z during prayer. We’re excited that we now have a music video for this song. And we’re excited to share it with you!

My human mind likes to divide things up. Good and bad. Black and white. But life is so much more complicated than that. If I find my thoughts veering into Black and White Land, I can remember the panda bear. Panda bears may appear to be black and white, but they contain multitudes. So do I. Where have I divided parts of myself into good and bad, black and white? I blur the boundaries today!

I am what I eat. Of course, I am much more than that. I am body, mind, and spirit. But what I put into my body makes a big difference. Today I notice what I eat. Then I notice how it makes me feel. Do I feel energized? Or do I feel depleted? Am I at peace? Or am I controlled by cravings? As I make a commitment to nurture my body with nourishing foods, my body responds with joy, energy, and aliveness.

My life is mine. In my little Universe, I get to call the shots. I get to create a whole world with my thoughts and beliefs. When I find myself hanging out in a low-vibe place – either with someone else or within my own mind, I can shift things. I can choose to hang out with people who lift me up. And I can choose thoughts that do the same. The more I do this, the more OMG my life becomes.
