On October 12, Indigenous Peoples Day, a powerful new film about Leonard Peltier will air on Netflix across the United States and worldwide in 190 countries.

For decades, Peltier has remained imprisoned following a disputed conviction, becoming one of the most recognized and controversial cases of Indigenous justice in American history.
Now, as Leonard Peltier enters the twilight of his life, a new generation is raising its voice and demanding that his story not be forgotten and that he not spend his remaining years behind bars.

On July 13, 2026, President Trump revoked the Bears Ears National Monument and purported to terminate the Bears Ears Commission — the body of Tribal representatives established to help guide the monument’s management. Sixty days after signing, the roughly 1.24 million acres removed from the monument will be open to mineral leasing, mining claims, and other public land dispositions.

The Hopi Tribe, Pueblo of Zuni, and Ute Mountain Ute Tribe, represented by the Native American Rights Fund (NARF) continue to fight to protect the invaluable Bears Ears National Monument; protections that Native people advocated to create for many decades.

Silver Bullet Productions' documentary, NO GREATER ACT, will be airing on New Mexico PBS on THURSDAY AUGUST 27 at 7:00PM and again on August 28th at 9:00PM. Both airings will be on PBS Channel 5.
Resilience did not begin with the Pueblo Revolt of 1680; nor does this story. Rather, it is the culmination of efforts beginning in the 1500’s to resist Spanish colonization and retain the inherent sovereignty over land, culture, and religion.
