Today we celebrate the mothers, grandmothers, aunties, mentors, and strong women who continue to lead with love, sacrifice, wisdom, and strength. Thank you for uplifting and empowering the next generation of young women to believe in themselves, lead with confidence, and chase their dreams fearlessly.

Our Sunday Sessions young ladies continue to grow not only as student-athletes, but as future leaders and that growth starts with the support, guidance, and example set by the incredible women around them every day.

We appreciate the early mornings, encouragement, support, and unconditional love that helps make this community special.

Men of Distinction | Salinas Union High School District

I was truly honored to be invited as a speaker on the Men of Distinction panel, representing the Reggie Stephens Foundation in partnership with the Salinas Union High School District.

This program is powerful, it’s about connection, mentorship, and giving young men real examples of leadership, growth, and purpose. Being in a room with community leaders committed to guiding and serving the next generation was something special.

At RSF, we believe in meeting youth where they are—helping them build confidence, make strong decisions, and become the best version of themselves. That message aligned perfectly with what this program stands for.

Hearing students share how mentorship is helping them feel more prepared and confident about their future is exactly why this work matters. This is how we build a cycle of positivity—today’s mentees becoming tomorrow’s mentors.

A special thank you to Dr. Zandra Galvan and Tamisha Allen-Smith for your leadership and vision.

This organization is dedicated to expanding opportunities for women in football and establishing a strong presence for the sport in Northern California.
