This evening, The Westwind Residents and Staff were so honored to have some very special visitors! The Captains of the Scott’s Valley High School Football team and The captains of the Scott’s Valley High school Cheer team were so gracious in donating 58, yes, 58 Home cooked Bbq Chicken dinners with homemade Mac and cheese, baked beans and rolls to our hard working staff!

Not only did these amazing kids deliver these warm smoky bundles of love, but they also walked around and hand delivered them to our staff.

They greeted our residents, gave them hugs and knelt down to talk to them. Introduced themselves, made small talk and the residents were out of this world overjoyed.

Again, all these 58 dinners were donated by the Scott’s Valley High school sports program and Reggie Stephen’s foundation as a way to “give back” to our precious family here at Westwind.

Huge thanks to all these fabulous kids, their parents for raising these great members of society, Louie Walters Athletic Director at Scotts Valley High, Retired NFL player and founder of the Reggie Stephens Foundation, Reggie Stephens, all the volunteers for the event and Mr. Raina (Greg Giguiere) for helping make this happen
