Early results from the study Mindful Schools conducted in partnership with UC Davis in the 2011-12 school year. It is the largest study to date on mindfulness and children, involving 915 children and 47 teachers in 3 public schools in Oakland (ranked #5 in the United States in violent crime). The results showed statistically significant improvements in behavior (see the graph below).
