What a weekend in Clearlake, California! 🐾

From October 9 -11, our M.A.S.H. team partnered with the Clearlake Animal Association, W**e Country Lovers, and Lake County SPCA to bring our spay/neuter services to the Lake County community. Together, we sterilized 204 dogs and cats.

🐱 57 female cats · 53 male cats
🐶 41 female dogs · 53 male dogs

We also gave 374 vaccines (189 rabies · 77 DHPP · 108 HCP) to help keep these pets and their families healthy. Thank you for the vaccines Petco Love!

Also a huge thank you to the local volunteers who showed up all weekend, and a special shout-out goes to Greg Stanley, who was with us all three days keeping intake exams flowing and helping in recovery. Greg, you’re a crucial part of this team! 💛

Thank you, Clearlake, for welcoming us!

Can we M.A.S.H. out of the pet overpopulation crisis?

This Sunday our Founder & Director, Emma Clifford, takes the stage at the United Spay Alliance Conference to share how we’re getting there. 🐾

In Galápagos, we proved it: sterilization coverage of +80% of dogs and cats on Isabela Island. Now, through our M.A.S.H. clinics (Mobile Animal Sterilization Hospital), we’re bringing that model to communities across the U.S. And with the No Birth Movement, we’re building the cultural shift that makes prevention the norm, not the exception.

M.A.S.H. in Atuntaqui, Ecuador!

Our program in Ecuador is extending beyond the Galápagos Initiative and we are really proud to announce a new clinic in Atuntaqui, in the Andean Region of the country.

Spay/Neuter services are very much needed in communities like Atuntaqui, thats why we are deploying with the partnership of Fundación BAI to provide free sterilization and wellness services for the animals of the community.

The clinic will be held at Casa Comunal La Dolorosa de Atuntaqui, a well known community center in the area.

We are eager to see you there!
