Girls Go Out hosted an incredibly magical sound bath at Meditation Mount in beautiful Ojai today! Suburbanoid sound bath meditation played the Tibetan bowls, fusion sitar, guitar with an electric bow, Italian gong, French koshi chimes, ocean drums, crystal bowls, twin baby bells, his vocals, and a loop pedal to create an oasis of relaxing music that opened a portal into the infinite universal oneness! 🌌

The Meditation Mount was founded 55 years ago to promote the building of an enlightened and compassionate world through the power of Creative Meditation, inspirational education programs, and community based events. This meditation was intended to inspire quietness and a return to self to set the foundation for a peaceful week. 🧘‍♀️

Meditation Mount is home to the International Garden of Peace and peace poles with the message “May Peace Prevail On Earth” in multiple languages of the world. Peace poles are recognized as the most prominent international symbol and monument dedicated to peace on Earth. Peace poles have been planted on every continent in over 200,000 communities by friends and supporters working in unison to uplift the consciousness of humankind. ✌️

Local Heritage got an exclusive tour of the iconic and whimsical Ablitt Tower in downtown Santa Barbara! This remarkable 53-foot tall, 4 story home was transformed from a vacant commercial lot, and is a spectacular example of Jeff Shelton’s signature whimsical style.

Join Local Heritage for an intimate afternoon devoted to more than a century of Chanel, Vogue, photography, and haute couture. The afternoon will feature a special photography exhibit, including archival materials from the 30s through the 60s, a live lecture and Q&A from fashion historian, Rebecca C. Tutor, and photography curator, Susanna Brown, a book signing with the international authors and curator, and gourmet French food!
