District216 is a membership driven social club designed to promote positive fellowship, expanded consciousness, curated expert information, and collective experience. This physical & virtual space is designed for members - exceptional visual artists, cannabis innovators, proven entrepreneurs, psychonauts, virtuoso musicians, etc - to co-create, collaborate, and recreate.

Chairs weren’t needed. The courtyard became our dance floor. 🌿✨

Last week, BlissIn Out (BlissIn Out ) Mindful Movement & Music took over the District House courtyard. Guests spread out in a loose circle, each with their own pocket of space, moving to the music and the guidance of Nika Antuanette (Nika Antuanette ).

Jeremy Cone’s (Jeremy Cone ) music moved in step with every stretch, shake, and sway. Then Nika and Jeremy shared their original songs and mantras, and the whole circle sang along on the choruses. Strangers became a choir. 🎶

Our partner, Canopy, joined us with their offerings, and the afternoon glowed with that open, lifted, embodied feeling the workshop promised.

We are so honored that Nika and Jeremy traveled all the way from New York to share this with our community. Come back soon, you two. 💛

A full evening at LoDo Studios (5 to 10pm) with fireside chats, a discussion panel, dinner by Blue Owl, functional elixirs, a Rooftop Terpene Lounge, a vendor marketplace, and live music from MAHEENA and Kat’s Meow with visuals by Michael Strauss and aerial performance by Elemental Arts. Speakers include Cain Velasquez, Ian McCall, Mark Irwin, Gene Brewer, Mike Guymon, Meghan Afonkin, Dante Liberato, and Robert Gallery, with Kat Walsh moderating. Imagine one transformed woman standing in the middle holding a mask she made with her own hands 🎭✨

That was last week, when Jacqueline López (Entheo Medicine ) brought her workshop “Between Worlds: Art, Altered States & The Practice of Becoming” to our community.

Jacqueline spent years as a CPA. Then her late partner, Michael, passed away, and the identity she’d built her whole life around went with him 🕊️ Grief rearranged everything. She left Santa Barbara for the Bay Area and started trying new things in the wreckage of a life she no longer recognized. Mask making was one of them.

She brought her early masks into the circle and told us the story behind each one 🎨 Hispanic-Portuguese and Guaraní Indigenous iconography. Alchemy. Her mother’s tradition of treating dreams as creative instruction. Grief, celebration, and becoming, all woven into the same visual language.

Plant medicine played a huge role in her awakening 🍄🌿 and it carried her from a psychedelic opening all the way to the artist, protester, and badass woman standing in front of us that night.

Grief into art, and loss into purpose. ❤️

This is exactly what District House exists for. Come find your seat in the circle 💫
