AHA: Inspiring Youth to Feel Safe, Seen, and Emotionally Connected Healthy Attitudes, Emotional Harmony, and Lifelong Achievement for Teens. AHA!

serves teens and families year-round with after-school programs in Santa Barbara and Carpinteria, a summer program in Santa Barbara, and in-school programs in Santa Barbara, Carpinteria, and Goleta. We also offer an outdoor program throughout the year, groups for parents, and donation only therapy for families in need. Our innovative experiential curriculum guides teens to set goals and to stop bu

llying and hatred. It lends invaluable skills for understanding and managing emotions and relationships. From this place of security in themselves, teens are inspired to do good, achieve in school and serve their community.

Our HS PM summer group had the most wonderful time world building in Skechers boxes this summer! We were intentional with building spaces that felt fun, safe, comfortable, creative, and a space that was ours. We would not have been able to have this wonderfully connected opportunity without SKECHERS donating empty shoe boxes to us! ✨

Profound gratitude to the Women’s Fund of Santa Barbara! AHA! was one of 10 nonprofits selected to receive funding. The generous two-year grant will ensure that our programs will not only remain in local junior high & high schools, but our programs will serve at the elementary school level as well. We are incredibly overjoyed to be in partnership!
