In honor of Angela’s 50th birthday, the Foundation has awarded a grant to Claire McCullough! Claire intends to use the grant to help cover the cost of health insurance continuation payments. She hopes to use the money saved to take her daughter to Kings Island theme park. In response to receiving the grant, Claire said, “I am so very grateful for this grant and your kindness in this rough time in our lives! I am a firm believer that your attitude is part of the fight and staying positive has gotten me through breast cancer, AML and a bone marrow transplant and will get me through metastatic breast cancer. March 13, 2015 - We will forever remember when Angela went to heaven to watch over her two boys - Ryland and Archer. We miss you Mommy 💗💗!

From AAF's December 2022 Grant - Ameena - Thank you so much! I almost don't know what to say, I am so blown away by this beautiful act. I am very thankful to have been chosen to receive this award. This is the best thing that has happened to me in a long time, certainly since my diagnosis. I feel sad that Angela is not here, but what a beautiful thing to be able to receive this award and honor her memory in this special way. She continues to give and live on through us and I will remember her on my journey.

September 25 - Angela's Bday - She would have been 48.
Imagine living with significant uncertainty about having another birthday, being alive to watch your children graduate from high school and struggling with a simple task of driving your kids.

AAF continues to provide Silver Linings of Hope to MBC patients who struggle and question being able to spend the next day with their loved ones.
AAF has granted Silver Linings to over 55 women over the last 7 years.

March 13 - After 7 years, the legacy that my mom left through the Angela Andrade Foundation gives me great happiness. She lives on in the Foundation through each grant and silver lining given. And she lives on in me. - Ryland

We continue Angela's silver linings with the Angela Andrade Foundation making grants to metastatic breast cancer warriors like Wenjie our recent grant recipient - Wenjie - "November of last year, I was able to travel down to LA to attend a family wedding, and stayed for a while spending quality time with my mom. All because of you and your organization's help made that happen for me!
I deeply appreciate you and will always remember the goodness you've done for me."

As we remember Angela on her birthday, we remember her amazing strength, passion, love and the undeserved suffering she had to withstand to be with her family and friends every extra day.

AAF Friends - Wanted to share the story of our latest grant recipient, Esther, who needed assistance with some of her financial burdens including her daughters school and assisting her to accomplish her biggest dream of a healing journey to Malawi. Abrazos!

We celebrated Angela this morning with a beautiful hike/run in her memory 💗 Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our family and the AAF.
You are all helping to create silver linings for women who could really use our support during their time of need and creating priceless memories for them and their families. We will post our next grant soon. Abrazos !

Hello AAF Supporters, Here is the latest update - during COVID, AAF made a grant to Nidia, age 40, for a ‘silver lining’ family trip for her to Disneyland with her 3 kids under the age of 7 (when the park opens up). Nidia says “we have been cooped up at home since March and so bummed about not being able to do anything (try to tell that to my 15 month old, 5 yr old and 7 yr old). This is something we can look forward to. God bless AAF for the work you do to give a family a little bit of joy in the middle of difficult moments”.
We plan to make another grant this week on Angela’s birthday, September 25 and will provide an update. We are also planning our annual fundraiser run this Saturday, so please consider a donation in her honor. https://angelaandradefoundation.blogspot.com/

Friday March 13, 2015 - Angela Andrade physically left our lives.
Friday March 13, 2020 - Angela's Family is very grateful that we have been able to keep the foundation in Angela's honor and to the benefit of so many strong woman in great need.

Angela is with us in our hearts and memories Everyday. Today we will give a new grant in Angela's name to Evelyn R. for assistance with travel to her doctors (4) who live in different cities.
