Sweet dreams and happy memories at Breakfast Buddies! 💛

Yesterday, we welcomed 29 little ones and their parents/caregivers for a fun-filled morning! We read The Going to Bed Book, made our very own stuffed animal puppies, enjoyed breakfast together, and had lots of fun playing and making new friends! 🥞✨

We love seeing little ones learn, explore, and grow while families connect and build community. Thank you to everyone who joined us and to our wonderful volunteers who make these mornings possible! 💛

🚙🐑 See you Thursday, October 22, from 9:30–11:00 AM for our next Breakfast Buddies featuring Sheep in a Jeep!

Thank you Grace Episcopal Church - Sandusky for collecting and donating diapers for Breakfast Buddies at the The Center!...

COWABUNGA! It was TMNT Week at The Center! 🍕🥷

Our kiddos spent the week channeling their inner Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with plenty of creative fun! We:
🧪 Made our own OOZE (aka slime!)
🦸 Built mutant animal superheroes with air-dry clay
🥷 Designed our own masks
🐢 Met the Leonardo himself! 💙
🍕 Ate pizza for dinner of course!
🏐 And battled it out in Turtle Dodgeball!

From creativity and imagination to active play and plenty of laughs, it was a totally tubular week at The Center! 🐢🍕💛

🥰💛 Slime & silly faces 💛😋

It’s official.. Phase One is underway! 🚧

What began as a prayer and a vision is becoming reality, and we are incredibly grateful for God’s faithfulness through every step.

Through the generosity of local foundations, churches, businesses, donors, and so many people in our community, we are officially breaking ground.

There is still more to build and more work ahead, but we trust that God is not finished yet.

Join us October 17 from 4:30–6:00 PM as we celebrate this milestone together and look ahead to all that is still to come.

Building Hope. Building Community.

For greater things are still to be done in this city.
