Campbell Christian Community Center Formerly known as the Nehemiah Center, we provide free tutoring/mentoring to students in Sandusky 😃

The Campbell Christian Community Center's mission is to create safe spaces for children to learn and grow, while being surrounded by caring adults. Since 2007, the Center has offered educational and faith services, age-appropriate activities, mentoring, and guidance aimed at spiritual, physical, and relational well being of the individual.

Sometimes people ask us, “Why expand?”

And honestly… the answer isn’t about a building.

It’s about the little girl who finally found a safe place to be herself after school.

It’s about the teenager who started coming to open gym years ago and is now mentoring younger students.

It’s about the exhausted caregiver who walks into Breakfast Buddies and realizes they’re not alone.

It’s about the conversations that happen over shared meals, homework tables, basketball games, crafts, and ordinary Tuesdays.

The building simply gives us more room to say “yes.”

Yes to more children.
Yes to more families.
Yes to deeper relationships.
Yes to a community that needs connection and hope.

We’ve never wanted to just run programs. We want to create a place where people feel known, supported, and loved.

That’s the why.
