The Perkins Township Police Department's Annual K9 Fundraiser is just a few weeks away!

Join us on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Strickfaden Park (318 Bell Avenue) for an afternoon of family fun while supporting our K9 Program. Every dollar raised goes directly to our K9 Program.

This year's event will feature:
🚁 Metro Life Flight landing
🐕 Police K9 demonstration
🎟️ Raffles
🛠️ Home Depot Kids' Workshop
🍔 BBQ dinner from Snooties ($15)
🎉 And much more!

Meal tickets can be purchased at the event or in advance at the Perkins Township Police Department. Tickets are $15 and include a BBQ dinner from Snooties, chips, drink, and dessert from the House of Donuts.

The Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky is proud to help kick off the 2026 Erie County Fair, America 250 style! In partnership with Erie County, a special parade will depart from the Ohio Veterans Home and travel down Columbus Street to the fairgrounds.

We invite the community to line Columbus Street and join us in celebrating and honoring our veterans and all parade participants.

The parade begins Monday (8/10) at 2 p.m. Don’t miss this patriotic start to the fair!
