MR. Nsugbe is a multidisciplinary engineer who has worked in industry and academia. His work with Engineering and AI Researcher today makes improvements for our tomorrow. He is an award-winning STEM ambassador and former school governor, Nsugbe is a PhD and four-time chartered professional: Chartered Engineer (CEng), Chartered Mathematician (CMath), Chartered Physicist (CPhys), Chartered Scientist (CSci), Fellow of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (FIMA), and Fellow of the Institute of Physics (FRSA)

Our ACCEYSS Network STEM Fun Fact for today takes us back to Egypt! Imhotep is widely regarded by historians as the first known civil engineer and architect in recorded history. Serving as the chief vizier to Pharaoh Djoser, he designed and oversaw the construction of the Step Pyramid of Djoser in Saqqara, Egypt, between 2630 and 2611 BC.

Steam+ AI Camp Day 7.

Yesterday the children all worked together to successfully complete their maze! The pictures say it all. I also love how each day you get to bring the word of God into each lesson. It really does make a difference when you start off the day by putting Christ and his word first.

Day six of camp… the kids’ excitement is ramping up! IT’s like they know the big celebration is coming where we invite their parents to come and see what they have learned and how they better understand working together in groups to overcome obstacles and build each other up as well as build things!

Thank you to Miss Sophia, Mr. Sean, Mr. Sam, Mrs. Kimberly and for making this camp possible for the children.

Steam +AI Camp

Today, our students took their first steps into Python programming! They learned the basics of variable and for loops, wrote and executed their first program, and saw their code come to life in the terminal. To wrap up the lesson, they build their own programs by expanding on the example we created together in class.
