Today, we're holding our first School Behavioral Threat Assessment Tabletop (SBTA) Exercises at Region 18 Education Service Center in Midland, Texas. SBTA team members are working through facilitated scenarios together, applying the National Threat Assessment Center's model to analyze evolving information, discuss response options, identify potential gaps, and reinforce best practices that support the safety, security, and well-being of students, staff, and the school community.
