📣 Special opportunity for eligible C.A.R. members!

From August 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, the NSSAR Application Fee and National Annual Dues will be waived for eligible male members of The National Society of the Children of the American Revolution who are 22 or younger and apply for SAR membership during the eligibility period.

This is a great opportunity for the next generation to continue their service and commitment to preserving the legacy of the American Revolution.

Hey 5th Graders!! Check-out this awesome drawing contest ...

Hey parents — does your fifth grader love to draw? 🧑‍🎨

They have the chance to design the 2027 Padre Island National Seashore Annual Park Pass! Their artwork could be featured on next year’s official pass.

Encourage your young artist to grab their favorite art supplies and get creative. All entries must be postmarked by Sunday, August 31, 2026.

🏆 First‑Place Prize
The winning artist will receive: the 2027 Annual Pass featuring the winning artwork, $75 in art supplies, and a Padre Island reusable water bottle!

All prizes have been generously provided by Western National Parks.

What a fantastic theme this year!!

Our 2026 theme draws inspiration from an unexpected source: a line from the film “Home Alone 2.” The quote, “Maybe they don't forget about you, but they forget to remember you,” underscores the importance of actively remembering the individuals who served, especially those whose stories risk being lost to time.

Texas Rangers Society C.A.R. is featured on the New Braunfels Foster Closet website - Kids Helping Kids Easter Service Project - check it out!!

The New Braunfels Foster Closet is an extension of the ministry of 1HOPE for Kids by being a resource for foster families. The Foster Closet not only serves licensed 1HOPE families but also foster families with other agencies across Central and South Texas.
