• July 31 – Police vs. Fire Basketball Game & School Supply Fundraiser (Hays High School)
• August 1 – Stuff the Bus School Supply Drive (Kyle Walmart)
• August 2 – Kidz Cutz & Curlz – Free Haircuts, Nails, and School Supplies for HCISD Students (Registration Required)

We Remember, We Rise

Juneteenth is more than a date, it is a powerful reminder of resilience, freedom, and the ongoing pursuit of progress. As women of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., we honor the sacrifices of those who came before us while continuing to uplift our communities and create pathways for future generations.

Freedom is our foundation. Progress is our purpose.

As we commemorate Juneteenth, consider these meaningful ways to honor its legacy:
Give Back – Engage in service initiatives that make a lasting impact and support the needs of your community.

Invest with Purpose – Support Black-owned businesses, entrepreneurs, and organizations that contribute to economic empowerment and growth.

🍼 PROJECT CRADLE CARE 🍼

As we close out another incredible sorority year, Nu Sigma Sigma is filled with gratitude for the success of Project Cradle Care.

Because of the generosity of our Sorors, community partners, family, friends, and donors, we collected enough essential items to assemble 21 fully stocked diaper bags for 21 NICU families at Ascension Seton Hays Hospital. Each bag, valued at over $250, was filled with much-needed supplies for mothers and their precious babies during one of life’s most challenging journeys.

These bags represent more than diapers, blankets, bottles, and toiletries—they represent hope, love, encouragement, and sisterhood in action.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who donated and supported this initiative, especially our community partner Unforgettable Families and Friends, Inc!

We also want to recognize and celebrate our outstanding Project Cradle Care (PCC) Committee for their vision, leadership, organization, and countless hours of hard work in bringing this project to life.
