The 150th cat from Project Saddlebrook has been trapped, spayed and returned! 🥳 As part of our pilot targeted TNR project in partnership with Hays County Health Department and LUNA Movement! The neighbors and LUNA Movement call this cat Houdini because of her elusive nature! She was constantly having litters that she would abandon before they were weaned. We’re so glad she finally will have relief along with the other community cats of San Marcos Saddlebrook! 👏

We hit our goal of 150 Saddlebrook community cats fixed in 6 months! Thank you to everyone who made it possible! This project has had great neighborhood participation and awesome support from these two local partners ❤️ and it’s not over yet!

Thank you to everyone who helped make yesterday’s Pet Food Pantry possible! 💛🐾

Yesterday, 76 families visited the pantry for pet food assistance, and additional food deliveries were provided to the San Marcos Housing Authority, helping support 40 more families in our community. 🐶🐱

We’re incredibly grateful to our partners and supporters who help make this program possible:

💙 San Marcos Bluebonnet Lions Club
🛒 HEB
🏘️ La Cima
🐾 Pet Supplies Plus

Because of community support like this, we’re able to continue helping pets and the people who love them. 💛

Join us every third Saturday of each month for free pet food from 10-12 p.m. 🐕🐈‍⬛

PALS will be hosting our June TNR Clinics on June 2nd and June 16th! You can signup for spots and trap-loan at preventalitter.com/tnr.html! ❤️🐈

All TNR Clinic Cats must receive an eartip at the time of surgery and come in a tru-catch style trap. You can borrow traps from us if you don’t have your own. It is $16 per cat for the state required rabies vaccine and the TNR spay/neuter is an optional donation of your choice. All proceeds go towards this life-saving trap-neuter-return program. Max 3 cats per person per TNR clinics.

Email us at [email protected] for other questions or to get on our waitlist if spots show full for your desired date!
