The Department of Texas VFW is BRINGING BACK an assembling of a Department Team to participate in the Bataan Memorial Death March at White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico.
More than an endurance event, the Bataan Memorial Death March honors the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of the American and Filipino service members who endured the hardships of the Bataan Death March during World War II.
We are currently gauging interest from those who would like to be part of this experience. Whether you're a VFW member, Auxiliary member, family member, friend, or supporter, we invite you to express your interest and receive updates as plans develop.
This is a physically demanding event that requires preparation and training, but it also offers a unique opportunity to challenge ourselves while honoring those who served and sacrificed. Together, we'll build camaraderie, encourage one another, and carry forward the legacy of those whose courage continues to inspire generations.
At this time, we are simply gathering the names of those interested in learning more about participating with the Department Team. As details are finalized, those who sign up will receive updates regarding planning, logistics, and opportunities to participate.
