Past President Lisa Adams, who also serves as President of the Woods Humane Society Board, happily paid a “happy fine” today in celebration of a record-breaking free-adoption weekend at Woods Humane Society!

For our non-Rotarian friends, a happy fine is a small voluntary contribution made during a Rotary meeting to share good news, celebrate a milestone, or recognize something worth smiling about. Funds raised from happy fines help support our club’s annual scholarship program.

Congratulations to the Woods team on this incredible success, and thank you to the many members of our community who opened their hearts and homes to a new family member this weekend. 🐾

We're back at the Madonna Inn this Monday for our regular club meeting, and we hope you'll join us.

Our guest speaker will be former club member and attorney Greg Gillett, who will present "The Attack on the Rule of Law." Greg will share his perspective on this timely topic and provide insights from his years of legal experience.

As always, we'll enjoy fellowship, club updates, and an engaging program.

Turns out Rotarians are pretty good at moving food... especially when there's a little friendly competition involved! 😄

This week, our club traded meeting tables for packing tables as we volunteered at the SLO Food Bank, helping sort, pack, and prepare bags of food for our neighbors in SLO County. There were plenty of smiles, lots of teamwork!

Service Above Self isn't just a motto—it's what happens when great people come together to make a difference. We're grateful for the opportunity to support such an important organization and have a little fun while doing it.

Many hands make light work, and our Rotarians proved it once again! 💙🥫📦

This event is designed for networking, community connection, and volunteer recruitment. We’d love for you to stop by, meet the team, and learn how you or your business can partner with BBBS to support local youth. For those looking to volunteer- you will be able to enroll as a volunteer on-site!

Today’s Homes of Distinction Tour is about more than showcasing beautiful homes — it is about opening doors for local students whose determination, resilience, and potential inspire us all.

Tomorrow, we will celebrate a new class of scholarship recipients who have faced adversity with remarkable strength and perseverance.
