Isabella’s parents noticed she was squinting and struggling with simple tasks like reading and playing. When they learned Camino Health Center offers optometry services, they made an appointment. Isabella received a full vision screening and was fitted for glasses. For the first time in a while, she could see clearly and fully enjoy her everyday activities.

She is one of more than 70,000 patient visits last year, and even more families are turning to us for support.

When Julia’s son was diagnosed with a chronic skin condition that required regular check-ins, finding appointments that fit her schedule wasn’t easy. As a grocery store employee, daytime visits meant missing work and losing income she needed to keep her family stable.

Camino’s evening hours gave Julia a way to get her son the care he needed after work, yet each of our three clinics only offers appointments one to two evenings a week and demand continues to grow.

Thanks to our generous donors, more than 17,000 patients received essential care last year. Expanding evening hours will ensure parents won’t have to choose between a day’s wages and their child’s wellbeing.

🚨 Important Update for Medi-Cal Coverage 🚨

Starting January 1, 2026, adults (19+) who are undocumented or have unsatisfactory immigration status (UIS) will no longer be eligible to newly enroll for full Medi-Cal coverage.
