ANNUAL 9/11 MEMORIAL WESTERN HORSE SHOW

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 8TH 2019

HELP MAKE THIS YEAR THE BEST EVER !!

*ALL PROCEEDS GO TO THE FALLEN FIREFIGHTERS RELIEF FUND

For the past 12 years, our Western Horseshow has been dedicated to the Fallen Fire Fighters Relief Fund. What prompted this was the aftermath of 9/11. Fire departments throughout the country channeled their resources to New York, leaving

them in much need of replacing those monies……money that goes toward helping families of firefighters seriously injured in the line of duty. The fund is completely tax exempt, and incurs no administrative costs. 100% of the funds received can be utilized as aid when necessary. Last year, we were able to raise over $15,000 in cash and prizes. This is our 15th annual show and our aim is to maintain, or hopefully surpass that amount. As well as awarding ribbons to winners in each of the classes, great prizes have been donated by local merchants, as well as others in the horse industry. So far, we will be able to give out prizes up to 6th place, for all 20 classes. Dr. Mark Secor, American Horse Products, Kruse Feeds, Dr. Butch Quay,& Starbucks, are just a few of the generous donors this year. Help make our 15th annual show the best ever, & join us on Sunday September 10th at Sycamore Trails Stable, 26282 Oso Rd., San Juan Capistrano, for this fun for everyone horseshow

GREATINGS FELLOW EQUESTRIANS

To say 2020 has
been a most challenging year is a gross understatement. First the corona virus putting all of us in a medically precarious position. Then the lockdown putting all of us at financial risk as jobs were lost and small businesses closed never to reopen and now all of the domestic terrorisim and violence threatening a potential Civil War.
These are definatley troubling times and taking all of this into consideration, Gay and I have decided that in order to encourage the continuation of the safety health and welfare of all that we need to cancell our show this year.
Our gallant firefighters are continuing to fight fires in triple digit heat and several have sadly been lost in the line of duty. To that end Gay and I are considering adding a donate button to our page in lieu of our horseshow to send financial support so desperately needed by our firefighters. Please leave a comment and let us know if you are interested in this. If enough interest is shown we will add a donate button before the end of September so make sure you check back.
Hopefully next year will be better with all of this behind us and we can host our show once again. Until then stay safe and know that Gay and I are keeping you all in our prayers
