‼️ MEDICAL DOG ‼️
Helen is a young frenchie, around 1 to 2 years old, and she is everything we love about the breed: smart, sassy, friendly, resilient, and completely lovable.
When we pulled her from the shelter, we already knew she would need to have her eye removed. While that surgery is expensive, it was something we felt prepared to take on because this sweet girl deserved a chance at a comfortable life.
But after just a few days in her foster home, we realized there was much more going on.
Helen’s backside near her tail became severely swollen, inflamed, and started oozing. We rushed her to our vet, and after examining her, he confirmed what we feared: Helen will most likely need a tail amputation along with removal of the infected skin folds surrounding her tail.
Suddenly, a manageable medical case became a major surgical one.
Her current estimated veterinary costs are between $2,500 and $4,500+
We are not asking to raise the full amount, but we are asking for help bringing these costs into a range our rescue can realistically manage while still continuing to save dogs like Helen.
The truth is, once a dog is ours, we are committed to doing right by them no matter what.
If you are able to donate, no amount is too small. Every single contribution helps us get Hellen the surgeries and care she desperately needs so she can finally live pain free.
Please consider donating, sharing, or simply cheering this sweet girl on. She deserves a future where she feels good, heals fully, and gets to just be the happy bulldog she was always meant to be. gobeyondrescue.org/donate
