Gracie is a beautiful 3-year-old Pit mix who weighs about 60 pounds and carries herself with a soft, steady presence. She’s the kind of dog who doesn’t rush into things—she takes her time to observe, settle, and then show you who she really is.
In foster care, Gracie has been a great house guest. She’s crate trained, has had no accidents, and travels nicely in the car. She’s also doing well on leash walks and enjoys getting out and about.
Gracie can be a little shy when she first meets new situations or environments, but it’s nothing extreme—just a dog who appreciates a slow, thoughtful introduction. Once she feels comfortable, her sweet nature comes through.
She’s good with other dogs, though she does best with calm, gradual introductions. In the home, if other dogs are active or out and about, she can get a bit barky, so she’ll do best in a managed, structured setup where she can feel secure.
What really stands out is her temperament—Gracie is kind, beautiful, and quietly affectionate. She’s not pushy or overwhelming; she’s a soft soul looking for someone who understands that trust takes a little time.
With patience and consistency, Gracie is going to make a deeply loyal and loving companion.
