Join us tomorrow as we set up at the San Francisco francisco Zoos first Sunset Friday of the season!

Sunset Fridays is back this Friday, August 7th featuring live music by The Happys!

This event is FREE for Zoo Members (non-members pay just $14/per person, 12 and over)! Bring your lawn chair or blanket, and get ready to for a fun evening of live music, outdoor bars and gourmet bites, kid-friendly activities, and new this year – access to the new Dinos Rule! exhibit (separate paid ticket required).

This fun evening event takes place in the open playfield area featuring the Elinor Friend Playground, historic Dentzel Carousel, Playfield Café and Great Lawn, where performances will be staged.

🚨2026 National Zookeeper week starts🚨 tomorrow!

We will start the week off right with an ice cream social during lunch at the keeper trailer TOMORROW. It also happens to be National ice cream day!

During the week, we will also be giving out prizes to lucky winners, so keep an eye on our social media pages to see if you won!
