Jojo. Before & now. ❤️

This girl has been with us since 2021. Rescued from a hell shelter, absolutely emaciated. And still, the most gentle soul.

Watching her grow old here is heartbreaking. She deserves a family. A sofa. Someone who thinks she is their whole world.

But when I see how shepherds are treated around the world, yes, the WORLD ….. part of me feels safer keeping her with us. Knowing she is loved. Knowing she is safe.

Just another gorgeous shepherd mix being overlooked. So much intelligence, so much loyalty, so much love… and still waiting for someone to choose her.

I can’t help thinking that if she had a bit of poodle in her and a fashionable name, more people might care.

But she’s “just” Jojo. And Jojo has been enough all along. ❤️

The before & now of sweep. The life back in her face ❤️‍🩹
