Laura left her abuser with almost nothing, and her biggest worry was her cat, Pumpkin. Our shelter team found Pumpkin a safe place to stay, helped Laura land a better job, and supported her until she found a pet-friendly home. Today, they're both safe and happy.

What an amazing day of impact!

Over $32,000 raised. 1,200 care kits created.

Thanks to the Positive Allstate Agent Group (PAAG) & CCS partnership, nearly 100 volunteers gathered at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina during Allstate's annual conference to assemble back-to-school backpacks, baby essentials, and On the Move bags for survivors of domestic violence.

Survivors in Center for Community Solutions programs are receiving these highly needed kits, and we’re expanding the reach to even more survivors year-round coming to The San Diego Family Justice Center - Your Safe Place for support.
