👟 Southwest PELS: Step Up for Youth! 👟

As we come together for Southwest PELS on February 19-21, 2027, let’s make a difference in the lives of youth in our communities!

We invite all attendees to consider bringing a new, unworn pair of shoes for youth. All sizes are welcome! Every pair is an opportunity to help a young person take their next step with confidence.

This special service project is in honor of Rotary International President-Elect (RIPE) Larry Lunsford, whose commitment to service and passion for inspiring us to support youth remind us of the impact we can make when we come together.

Let’s turn our Rotary spirit into action and put our best foot forward for the next generation!

Please consider bringing a pair of new shoes to Southwest PELS. Together, we can help our youth take steps toward a brighter future!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 24, 2026, as San Diego County comes together for TogetherSD Day — A Day of Service and Connection!

👏 A special shout-out to Rotary International District 5340 Governor-Elect Michael Brunker, featured in a FOX 5 San Diego interview highlighting this exciting community initiative. Michael proudly represents Rotary on the OneSD Leadership Group of the Burnham Center for Community Advancement helping bring people and organizations together to make San Diego stronger.

💙 We're especially excited to celebrate our friends and partners in Kiwanis International, Lions Clubs International, Optimist International clubs in San Diego, and other community service organizations who are joining forces to make October 24 a day of meaningful action.

This is what community leadership looks like: organizations setting aside boundaries, combining their talents, and working shoulder to shoulder to create lasting impact far beyond a single day of service.

🌎 How can YOU participate?

Whether you're a Rotarian, a member of another service organization, or simply someone who loves San Diego, there's a place for you! Organize a community service project, join an existing effort, invite your friends and family, or partner with another organization to address a local need.
