Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for the Clare Rose Sabbatical information session! We loved meeting so many leaders who are considering what rest and renewal could mean for them and their organizations.

Leadership can be hard. That's why it is always a pleasure to recognize those who carry the weight and responsibility of it so very well. Congratulations to all of the nominees and honorees of the Inclusive Leadership in Action awards presented by RISE san diego. Special shout out to Fieldstone Network members who were nominated: Dilkhwaz Ahmed, Kimberly Grady and Risa Bell.

The event was held in Balboa Park at the Museum of Photographic Arts at the San Diego Museum of Art. Congratulations to Dominic Porter and his team for a joyous gathering and many thanks for including us in the celebration.

Last night, our executive director, Janine Mason, had the honor of serving as a host at the Longer Table San Diego dinner in Balboa Park. 500 hundred San Diegans came together to break bread and get to know each other outside of traditional work roles. The mission of Longer Tables is to cultivate connection and belonging by bringing people from all walks of life together around shared meals and aligns well with Fieldstone Network's mission of building trusted relationships.

This was not a simple dinner together. The dining experience was well planned, as each host attended a training and was given an opening toast, dialogue questions and a closing remark to provide an environment that cultivated connection. It was remarkable to see the payoff as 500 people met, conversed, and connected. We may never know the true impact of this night, but we trust the ripples will be impactful in ways that can only happen when people are connected and feel that they belong.

Thanks to all who had a hand in making this event happen and in reminding us to "set longer tables".
