PUPDATE
This sweet face belongs to Phoenix. His foster family recently shared this update about the 8-year-old Chocolate Labrador:

Phoenix would make a great addition to any family, he’s great with all dogs younger and older, has good manners (with reminders of course) is very gentle with kids. He’s eight and has way more energy than my almost 9 year old lab boy. Trustworthy in the house no crate needed, loves to play ball and take walks and loves a good nap.
Phoenix had a chance to try out his beach skills and he was amazing. Stayed close to his family, met other dogs, and focused on fetching his ball! He continues to improve on the leash and has good manners at home.

You can view more pictures of Phoenix, read about the adoption process, and view the areas we serve on our website: labrescuers.org

Introduction – Annie came in with Maggie. They were found wandering in a neighborhood and were turned into an Inland Empire shelter.

History -
Annie gave birth overnight to 3 puppies at the shelter. Once in our care, we noticed Annie was struggling. Off to the vet she went. Annie had a bad case of pneumonia. We noticed her puppies had something going on also. We took them to the vet . We lost one puppy, Roselle, due to pneumonia and being so young she could not fight it off. Trakr and Jake had a mild case of it and were treated. Momma and her boys were on medical hold and won’t be considering any families until they are cleared and of age to be adopted. They all were receiving nebulization treatments several times a day along with their medication.

Update -

Annie remains on medical hold. Stay tuned for an additional post about her boys. :)

Jake and Trakr are off medical hold. We are now considering potential adopters for them. They will remain in our care until they are 10 weeks old and then they can move to their forever families.

These pictures are of Annie her journey since intake.
Thank you to the all the Volunteers who stepped up to save this family.
