This summer, we’re SUPER excited to announce this incredible opportunity with Camp Kenwood & Evergreen!
For the past five weeks, Gavin and Hernan, two brave A Bridge for Kids students, have been spending the summer at this extraordinary seven-week camp in NEW HAMPSHIRE - with EVERY expense completely covered by K&E and ABFK.
Spending a summer at Camp Kenwood & Evergreen is SO much more than just going to summer camp. It’s a place where young people build confidence, develop independence, discover new passions, and form friendships that can last a lifetime. One of Camp Kenwood’s longtime owners, Scott Brody, often said, “You can have camp in a parking lot.” His point being that camp isn’t defined by the location, it’s defined by the people. The friendships, mentors, and memories formed there are what campers carry with them for the rest of their lives.
Over the course of seven weeks, Gavin and Hernan are unplugging from their screens for and tuning in to campfires, swapping routines for adventure, and trading unfamiliar faces for lifelong friends. From athletics and outdoor adventures to creative activities and countless moments of personal growth, they’re creating memories and gaining experiences that will continue shaping them long after they return home.
This is what happens when organizations come together to invest in young people. Experiences become opportunities. Opportunities become transformation.
