At whether it’s at our new Sibling Center or our beach based are the focus in all we do. The 7-18 year olds with a special needs brother or sister.

Often times called “glass children” they are far from fragile 🩵 These are resilient, compassionate, thoughtful siblings to their brother or sister with special needs.

We see these SIBS and support their unique challenges as a brother or sister of a special needs child. Our programs connect them with other SIBS with similar family dynamics that come with special needs or chronic illness siblings. And we have some serious fun along the way!

⛵️⛵️Many thanks and much gratitude to our wonderful friends at for gifting an exciting and fun LEARN TO SAIL class for 10 of our of this past weekend!

Sandy Feet Initiative’s Sibling Center is a first of it’s kind for Sibs! We are so excited to now offer these programs and activities to SIBLINGS of Special Needs Children (along with our beach based Summer Sib Camps too!)

SIB TEENS can learn how other brothers & sisters handle sticky situations and challenges that they are faced with as a siblling. PS: Our facilitators are Sibs themselves, so their insight and support fosters great connections!

Every summer, Surfing Madonna Oceans Project hosts surf sessions for kids with special needs. And we will be there for the SIBLINGS of Special Needs Kids on June 20th at Harbor Beach in Oceanside AND August 1st, 15th, 29th at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas!

It's going to be waves of Fun & Sun...
Absolutely the best of both amazing worlds on the beach!

*We will provide wetsuits, rash guards, and fun wave riding equipment. SIBS should bring towels, sunscreen, a favorite hat.

Cost: $50

*This Sibshop is for the neurotypical SIBLINGS (Participants must have a brother or sister with a special needs)
