GOT STUFF? Garage Sale it! Saturday, May 6 would be a great day to put your extra stuff out for all the shoppers who will be descending upon The Loop that day. Why? Our good neighbor at 233 Montalvo is hosting his own garage sale and wants others on The Loop to take advantage of his advertising! Got a little or a lot: just put it out front with your own sign to attract the traffic passing by. Spread the word! :o)

PARKING DECAL INFO: Montalvo and Lobeiro parking permits are $10. These permits are valid for one calendar year. Parking Permit decal must be affixed (no scotch tape) on either the lower left hand bumper of the vehicle or the outside lower left hand rear window. You must bring your vehicle registration and provide proof of residency on one of those streets. These permits are only available at City Hall located at 100 Avenida Presidio between 7:30AM and 5:30PM Monday through Thursday and 8:00AM to 5:00PM on alternating Fridays. Each residence may also obtain a free Visitor's Parking tag with proof of Loop residency. Each form of parking decal must be renewed annually.

BECAUSE WE LIKE A BAREFOOT-FRIENDLY PARK: On Friday, Januay 13, an agricultural-grade herbicide (pronounced "ERrrrrrrrrrrrrr-bi-side") will be applied to some patches of clover in the park. The State Park grounds-keepers (Patrick and Danita) will be applying the stuff around 9:30 AM and marking the areas with orange cones. You should have your kids and doggies avoid those marked areas until the application dries -- which really doesn't take very long. These clover patches are a nusance because they produce spiny little burrs now, and the flowers attract bees in the summer. Ouch!

IT'S THE HOLIDAY PARTY ON THE LOOP! The Details: Saturday, Dec. 10 @ 5 PM in the usual Loop Party Place (where Montalvo rounds into Lobeiro). Bring your drink, a chair, and a dish to share. Person wearing the most outrageous holiday sweater wins a door prize.

IF YOU SEE THEM AT THE PARK, be sure to tell them "THANK YOU" for all they do in keeping our little cliff-top piece of green heaven so nice. With State resources scarce and labor spread thin, PATRICK, DANITA, and SANTOS take a personal interest in keeping "our park" as well-maintained as they possibly can. I'm sure they'd love to hear from us how much we appreciate their efforts :o)
