San Clemente Junior Woman's Club

Founded in 1948, we are a community of women promoting volunteerism and improving our community.

Establishing service to the City of San Clemente in 1948, members volunteer countless hours, raise thousands of dollars and donate to charities within the community. The Club is part of the national organization the General Federation of Woman's Clubs (GFWC) the world's largest women's organization, which is headquartered in Washington, D.C.

Tomorrow, we’ll install San Clemente’s new Sand Toy Station at the pier.

Families will be able to Borrow • Play • Rinse • Return beach toys, creating a shared community resource that helps reduce waste and keep our beaches clean.

Come see it in person and be among the first families to use the station!

Something exciting is coming to the San Clemente Pier! 🏖️

After months of planning, building, and collaboration, we’re excited to introduce the Sand Toy Station, a new community resource designed to make beach play more accessible while helping reduce plastic waste and keep our beaches clean. 🌊

We hope you’ll join us on Wednesday as local families help launch the station’s first official day of use. 😎

Exciting news is coming to the beach! 🏖️

Behind the scenes, volunteers from the San Clemente Junior Woman’s Club have been hard at work building a new Sand Toy Station for families to enjoy. 💪

The station will encourage beachgoers to Borrow • Play • Rinse • Return beach toys, helping reduce plastic waste, promote sharing, and keep our beaches clean. 🌊

Stay tuned as we put the finishing touches on this community project and prepare for installation on June 24. ☀️

Honoring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸 San Clemente Junior Woman’s Club was proud to donate a wreath as part of the City of San Clemente’s Memorial Day Observance in remembrance and gratitude. Today, we pause to honor our fallen heroes and the freedoms they fought to protect. ❤️🤍💙

This Memorial Day, join San Clemente Junior Woman’s Club as we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸

SCJWC is proud to present a commemorative wreath alongside others in a beautiful community display on the lawn of the San Clemente Community Center (100 N. Calle Seville, corner of Avenida Del Mar & Calle Seville).

We invite our community to stop by, reflect, and pay tribute with us on Monday, May 25 from 11:00 AM–12:00 PM.

🎉🌺 What a fiesta to remember! 🌺🎉

The San Clemente Junior Woman’s Club recently celebrated the clubs 78th Birthday, surrounded by wonderful members, friends, and special guests from the Orange District CFWC and the San Clemente Woman's Club. 💃🎊

The evening was filled with connection, laughter, and celebration as we honored 78 years of service to our community. We were especially proud to award two scholarships to outstanding San Clemente High School seniors — one in Fine Arts and one recognizing Teen Citizenship. 🎓✨

We also enjoyed fun rounds of bingo, recognized our incredible past club presidents, and reflected on the legacy of leadership and service that continues to shape our club today. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who joined us for such a memorable fiesta-filled evening! Here’s to continuing our tradition of friendship, service, and community impact for many years to come. 🌮🎈🎉

We’re excited to announce our new monthly social series—alternating Beach Trail Walks 👟& Happy Hours 🍷!

Join us every third Thursday at 5:30 PM for a fun and casual way to connect, learn how we give back, get to know our members, and enjoy the community together.

We’re kicking things off with a Beach Trail Walk on May 21st, meeting at the top of the T-Street stairs. On alternating months, we’ll gather for happy hour at The Cellar on Avenida Del Mar.

Whether you’re a current member, new to the area, or just curious about the SCJWC, we’d love for you to join us. Bring a friend and come say hello!

One hundred and thirty-six years ago, on April 24th, 1890, 63 women from 17 states across the country formally adopted the constitution of the newly-formed General Federation of Women’s Clubs.

Their commitment to each other paved the way for the immeasurable impact clubwomen have had on the world. Today, we celebrate the founding of the General Federation of Women's Clubs and the incredible members who dedicate their lives to serving others.
