Paws and Strides Rescue was founded in response of the overpopulation of stray dogs in the Rio Grande Valley.

PAWS and STRIDES RESCUE is a independent 501c3 recognized non-profit, no-kill rescue organization dedicated to reducing overpopulation, abuse and neglect of domestic dogs in the Rio Grande Valley.

We have a wonderful update on the little dog who recently needed rehoming. She is currently safe, loved, and resting easy with a wonderful foster! Amber Rain P***a

My rescue just sponsored her initial vetting, and we have amazing news: she is heartworm negative! To get her fully ready for adoption, our next step is trying to fund her spay and essential dental work as you can see from her pictures and video.

Since February, my small rescue has sponsored 5 dogs in need. I am at capacity for taking in dogs personally, but my heart is still in the game to help when I can. However, my rescue funds are currently running on empty. Every single dollar helps us cover Baby Bear's upcoming surgeries and prepare for the next dog who needs us. Please consider donating today!
