Directions

Together, we’re empowering Catholic men to live their faith at home, in their parish, at work and in their community. Faith. Family. Community. Service.

Knights of Columbus Council 9902 proudly serves our parish and surrounding community by living out the principles of Charity, Unity, and Fraternity every day. Rooted in Catholic faith and guided by the example of Blessed Father Michael J. McGivney, our council is committed to strengthening families, supporting our clergy, serving those in need, and being a visible witness to Christ in our community. Our members are men of faith, many of whom are veterans, fathers, husbands, and community leaders. We serve through parish ministries, community outreach, support of the vulnerable, respect life initiatives, patriotic events, and hands-on service projects that make a real difference locally. Council 9902 is more than an organization — it is a brotherhood of men who stand together in prayer, service, and mission. Whether it’s supporting families in crisis, honoring our veterans and first responders, assisting our parish, or answering the call to help wherever needed, we are committed to serving God by serving others. We welcome Catholic men who are ready to grow in faith, serve their community, and be part of something bigger than themselves. If you’re looking for purpose, brotherhood, and a way to live your faith in action — you belong here.

The Knights of Columbus is more than just volunteering at parish events and raising money for charity. It’s about growing in our Catholic faith and supporting one another.

Here at St. Mary Magdalen, Council 9902 is working to become a more prayerful council, encouraging our brother Knights to grow in their faith while supporting the men and families of our parish.

We’re also focused on mentoring our younger Knights, helping them develop leadership skills and teaching them the importance of selfless service. We want to build strong Catholic men who will continue serving our Church, families, and community for generations to come.

Sometimes something as simple as asking a brother if he needs prayer can make a difference.

The Knights of Columbus, St. Mary Magdalen Council #9902, ask our Brother Knights, parishioners, and community to join us in prayer for the service member who tragically lost his life following a rappelling incident at yesterday’s UTSA vs. Navy football game.

We are grateful for his service to our nation and extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and fellow service members.

As Catholic men, we are called to stand together in faith, especially during times of sorrow. May our Blessed Mother wrap her mantle of love and comfort around his grieving family, and may our Lord grant them strength and peace in the days ahead.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Veterans Day Patriotic Rosary 🙏

Knights of Columbus Council 9902 invites all veterans, military families, parishioners, and members of our San Antonio community to join us for a special Patriotic Rosary in honor of Veterans Day.

As Catholic men, we recognize the sacrifices made by those who have served our nation. We will gather to pray for our living and deceased veterans, remember those who gave their lives in service to our country, and ask our Blessed Mother's intercession for the protection of our military personnel currently serving.

In today’s Gospel, the seventy-two disciples return to Jesus excited about everything they were able to accomplish in His name.

But Jesus reminds them of something even greater:

“Do not rejoice because the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice because your names are written in heaven.”

That is a good reminder for us as Knights.

We can serve our parish, raise money for worthy causes, help families in need, volunteer our time, and accomplish many good things. But our greatest purpose is not found in what we accomplish or the recognition we receive.

It is found in following Christ and helping one another get to Heaven.

May we continue to serve with humility, remain faithful in prayer, and always remember who we are serving.

Vivat Jesus!
