Today, CASA had the pleasure of attending the 210 Rise Summit - an inspiring day filled with powerful stories of resilience, courage, and hope from human trafficking survivors. 💜

We were also honored to hear from an incredible panel of leaders, including our very own CEO, Dr. Angie White. Thank you, 210risereadyset, for creating a space to amplify survivor voices, inspire change, and bring our community together.

We’re grateful to be part of conversations that empower, educate, and create a safer future for our community. 💜

For the past several days, Team Purple at Valero has been going ALL IN for CASA! 💜

As a proud United Way Partner Agency, we were honored to be selected by Valero as a choice charity during this year’s United Way campaign. Team Purple has been championing CASA throughout Valero’s corporate office, building awareness, rallying support, and bringing plenty of friendly competition along the way! Our CASA team had a blast cheering them on during the festivities, welcoming Valero employees for office tours, and sharing our mission at the campaign kickoff. Every conversation was an opportunity to shine a light on the needs of children in foster care right here in Bexar County.

Today, we got to celebrate their incredible results: generous gifts to CASA and other agencies as well as amazing overall participation by their employees in their United Way campaign! 🎉

This support will help us grow our mission, reach more children, and ensure more kids have a dedicated CASA volunteer advocating for them when they need it most. Thank you, Valero, Team Purple, and everyone who rallied behind CASA. We are so grateful to have you in our corner!

Every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and succeed in school. For many children, school is the most stable part of their lives. But for children in the foster care system, that path is often disrupted.

CASA volunteers help protect that stability and open doors to a brighter future. They step in to make sure a child’s education does not fall through the cracks.

Educational Advocacy means:
*Helping children stay in the same school when possible
*Making sure they receive needed services
*Connecting with teachers, counselors, and caregivers to support progress
