On August 19, Utah lawmakers gathered for a Utah Life Sciences Innovation Caucus breakfast organized by BioUtah, featuring insights from GE Healthcare and 3Helix on technologies improving health and creating economic impact worldwide.

💡 GE Healthcare's Salt Lake City facility contributes an estimated $1.97B to Utah's GDP, while Heber City-based 3Helix is expanding its global reach through a new distribution partnership with BASF.

BioUtah and BYU's College of Life Sciences hosted the third annual BYU/BioUtah Networking Lunch, bringing together approximately 100 attendees to explore BYU research, industry resources, and opportunities for collaboration.

🧬 The program featured insights from BYU leaders Michael Stark, David Brown, and Laura Bridgewater, along with a keynote from regulatory attorney and former FDA counsel Seth Olson.
