Join us Tuesday, October 27th for an open house and ribbon cutting co-hosted by the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce from 2-7pm!
The SACC is delighted to co-host a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the Salisbury Wicomico Arts Council (SWAC) new permanent home in Wicomico County.
As the first and oldest arts council in Maryland, SWAC has been a dedicated champion of the arts for decades, funding, promoting, and delivering arts programs that enrich the community. Through its support of schools, community organizations, youth initiatives, and civic groups, SWAC has helped strengthen the region’s cultural landscape while advocating for arts funding at the local, state, and national levels.
Join us on Tuesday, October 27, 4:00 – 5:00 PM to:
- Meet Executive Director, Therese Hamilton, SWAC Staff, Board Members and Volunteers
- Learn about future plans for both buildings, upcoming programs/projects and productions, future opportunities, venue rentals for special events, classes, meeting space and more!
