Can you turn a cedar fence picket into this?

Join us at Delmarva Makerspace and make your own Cedar Jack-O’-Lantern from start to finish.

You'll select your cedar, measure and cut the pieces, choose your Jack-O’-Lantern face, watch it being carved on our CNC router, and assemble your lantern using pneumatic tools.

Updated Delmarva Makerspace Hours

We’re making a small change to our weekly schedule.

Starting this week, our regular open hours will be:

Monday: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Tuesday: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Wednesday: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Thursday: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Friday: Closed
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Sunday: Closed

The biggest change is that our Tuesday and Thursday hours will now be 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM.

Whether you’re working on a project, learning a new tool, or just want to see what the Makerspace is all about, come make something with us!

September 7 Holiday Closure

Delmarva Makerspace will be closed Monday, September 7 for the holiday.

Our Makerspace is powered by volunteers, and we’re encouraging our volunteers to take the day to enjoy the holiday with their families and friends.

We’ll reopen Tuesday, September 8 from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM and resume our regular schedule.

We’re set up and ready at NeshiCon!

Delmarva Makerspace is at the Seaford District Library TODAY for NeshiCon!

Come find us in the Allen Room and check out some of the things our makers have created, including cosplay props, 3D printing, laser and CNC projects, woodworking, and more.

We’ll also be building a foam cosplay helmet during the con, so stop back throughout the day and watch it take shape!

Have something you’ve always wanted to make but weren’t sure how? Come talk to us. That’s exactly what a makerspace is for.

Ever heard of a shave horse? It’s a wood working tool that allows the user to sit and push down with their feet to clamp a piece of wood in place while using a draw knife or another tool.

Last year one of our members made a shave horse and donated it to Delmarva Makerspace.

Recently another member used it to make an axe handle.

Do you have a project that a shave horse could help with? If so, become a member today.

Latest workshop project! Used the UV printer on a piece of whiteboard material today. The ink adhered amazingly well, and the contrast is super sharp.
