Today and everyday we express our love and gratitude to the ones who guide us, love us on our worst day, and make life more beautiful simply by being in it.

Our youngest vendor on Saturday was just 9 years old while our oldest attendee was 82. We’re talking generations of magic, wisdom, and being that girl! The energy in the room is always undeniable and we are over the moon with pride to be able to facilitate such an experience. 💛💛💛

Today and everyday we stand in support of survivors of sexual violence. If you’re wearing denim today, let us see! 💛💛

Image text: Denim Day is a global sexual violence prevention campaign held on the last Wednesday in April. It started from a 1998 Italian Supreme Court ruling that overturned a r**e conviction because the victim “wore tight jeans”, implying consent. Following the reversal, members of the Italian Parliament wore denim jeans in protest. Today, participants wear denim to challenge victim-blaming and other problematic attitudes while standing in solidarity with sexual violence survivors. Solange told us that some things are for US and this HERE will always be for US.

It’s Brunch week and we can’t wait to welcome all of you into the space. As our flagship event continues to reach beyond Maryland, it speaks to the reality that issues facing Black women have no geographical boundaries and that the joy and warmth that’s created when we come together is truly something special.

As comes to an end, we’d like to highlight the ones who show up for OG and for the communities that we serve.

Earlier this month, two of our youngest volunteers packed and delivered Easter treat bags for the children at the Village of Hope (with a little guidance and chauffeur from their mamas 😉). Village of Hope offers transitional housing and other support to at-risk women and children.

This month also marked our very first volunteer orientation. We are incredibly grateful to see an increase in volunteer interest and extend many thanks to all who assisted during Black Maternal Health Week.

Another sista circle down!

This month was “Pilates Hotties” with a little emphasis on the mommies since it’s .

We want to send a huge thank you to for hosting us in such a warm space. You know the kind of events that don’t require much decor because the details are already on point? That’s Eastern Shore Core!

For many of us, this was our very first Pilates class and we got the best of both worlds. Part one was reformer, hosted by one of our OGs of OG, . Whitney is a fitness instructor, now certified reformer instructor at Eastern Shore Core. Part two was more of a mat yogalates fusion class with Megan of . Megan is a prenatal and postpartum fitness specialist that helps women have better births and easier pregnancies and recoveries through yoga, barre and Pilates.
