The vehicle's rims have undergone painting. Are you aware that the originality of the rims can be verified? A simple inspection will reveal the code '51', denoting the truck's year of manufacture. The restoration project is progressing with the frame being painted and the front and back axles, and brakes rebuilt. Jeff is currently awaiting the engine's return from the machine shop, after which Chief will continue to work on rebuilding it. Chief Jeff is generously giving this Old Ford restoration project without any cost to the Fire Department. Just a reminder the public hearing is tonight for a tax increase, we would love to have the community there to hear all the future plans we have for the department. The public hearing will be held at the station.

The Ellis Cross Country Fire Department will host a Public Service Meeting on March 26th at 7:00pm at the department's premises to discuss a proposed tax increase within the district, and all residents of the Ellis District are cordially invited to attend.
