📚🌻 DID YOU KNOW? October is National Book Month! 🌻📚

What better time to look back at one of the wonderful first-time vendors who joined us at the 2026 Tri-Rivers Fair!

The Backyard Bookshelf Mobile Bookstore brought a little extra magic to the fair with shelves full of stories, unique finds, and a love for reading! And of course, we can’t forget their adorable bookstore pup!

A BIG congratulations to our Tri-Rivers Fair Wildlife Quest winners!

We loved seeing everyone join in on the adventure, explore, and celebrate their love for wildlife! Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make our Wildlife Quest such a fun part of the fair, this year!

A special THANK YOU to Rolling Hills Zoo for partnering with us to make this adventure possible! ❤️ Your generosity in providing the animals featured throughout the quest, along with the amazing prize packages for our winners, helped make this activity extra special for our fair families. We are so grateful for your support and partnership!

October is here, and the Tri-Rivers Fair is hitting the road!

We’re excited to announce that Tri-Rivers Fair will be participating in the Gypsum Fall Festival Parade!

Saturday, October 17
Parade starts at 2:30 PM
Gypsum, Kansas

Come enjoy a beautiful fall day, bring the family, and watch for the Tri-Rivers Fair crew in the parade!

We love being part of our community, and we’re excited to get out and celebrate fall with our friends in Gypsum!

And just like that… the countdown to fall fun begins!

As we look back on the 2026 Tri-Rivers Fair, one thing stands out above everything else — YOU!

From our exhibitors and volunteers to our sponsors, vendors, participants, families, and everyone who came out to enjoy a summer night at the fair… thank you for being part of it.

It takes an incredible community to make the fair happen, and we are so grateful for every person who helped make 2026 one to remember.

But our work doesn’t stop when the fair ends!

Keep an eye on our page this week — we’ll be making some exciting announcements about upcoming ways the Tri-Rivers Fair will be getting involved in and supporting our community.

For a quarter of a century, Eric has given his time, energy, and countless hours to helping make the fair a special tradition for our community. His commitment and willingness to serve has made a lasting impact on the Tri-Rivers Fair and the families who enjoy it year after year.

Congratulations to Linda on 50 years of dedicated service on the Tri-Rivers Fair Board!

For five decades, Linda has given her time, energy, heart, and countless hours to help make the Tri-Rivers Fair what it is today. Her dedication to our fair, our youth, agriculture, and our community has left a lasting legacy that will continue for generations.

50 years is more than a milestone. It represents five decades of memories, friendships, hard work, tradition, and commitment to our community.

From all of us at the Tri-Rivers Fair, thank you, Linda, for everything you have given and continue to give. We are incredibly grateful to celebrate this remarkable achievement with you!

EVER WONDER HOW THE TRI-RIVERS FAIR THEME IS CHOSEN?

Our fair theme isn’t picked by just one person—it’s a 4-H community effort!

Each year, the District 4-H Council starts the process by choosing a handful of theme ideas. Then, each 4-H club gets to pick their favorite and bring it to the meeting for everyone to consider.

From there…

The Top Three themes are selected.
Then the final vote is made.

And just like that, we have the official theme for that year’s Tri-Rivers Fair!

This year, “Stars, Stripes & Summer Nights” brought our 2026 fair to life—and we loved seeing all the creative ways our 4-H’ers incorporated the theme throughout the fair!

From decorations to displays, our 4-H members helped make the theme more than just words—it became part of the fair experience!

A BIG thank-you to the District 4-H Council, our 4-H clubs, leaders, volunteers, and members who help make traditions like this possible.

We can’t wait to see what theme comes next!
