Monday night's severe storm left a significant impact on Rolling Hills Zoo - as we're sure many of you can relate to. We experienced power outage, extensive tree and limb damage throughout the Zoo, as well as structural damage to our rhino barn, maintenance building, and several solar panels.

While the cleanup and repairs will take time, we are incredibly grateful to share that all of our animals remained safe, secure, and well cared for throughout the storm and the days that followed.

Currently, essential portions of the Zoo and Museum are operating on generator power while repairs are underway. Our dedicated RHZ team has been working tirelessly to clear debris, assess damage, restore operations, and prepare to welcome you back.

We are tremendously proud of our staff's commitment and resilience during this time. Thank you to everyone who has reached out with concern and support. Your kindness means the world to us. ❀

We look forward to seeing you at Rolling Hills Zoo soon and will continue to provide updates as recovery efforts progress! Stay safe out there, friends!
