A Special Visit That Warmed Our Hearts!

We had the pleasure of welcoming back a very special friend to DVACK, Keren Comfort Dog! Keren is a trained Lutheran Church Charities K-9 Comfort Dog from Immanuel Lutheran Church in Ellsworth, Kansas. Alongside her dedicated handlers, Keren visits communities, schools, hospitals, and individuals experiencing difficult times, offering comfort, compassion, and a calming presence.

There is something truly special about Keren. Whether it's a gentle nuzzle, a wagging tail, or simply sitting beside someone, she has a wonderful way of brightening even the hardest days. We also want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to Immanuel Lutheran Church for donating beautiful quilts to DVACK! These thoughtful gifts will provide warmth, comfort, and a reminder to survivors that their community cares.

Keren, you are truly a treasure, and we are so grateful for the joy and comfort you bring each time you visit!

Thank you to Keren, her handlers, and Immanuel Lutheran Church for sharing so much love and kindness with DVACK! 💜🐾

We wear purple for survivors. Today and every day. 💜
