🐾 RESPONSIBLE PET OWNERSHIP STARTS WITH SPAY & NEUTER 🐾
One of the most important things you can do for your pet—and for animals throughout our community—is to have your pets spayed or neutered. ❤️
Every unplanned litter adds more puppies and kittens to a community where shelters and rescues are already working hard to find homes for animals in need.
Spaying and neutering helps:
🐶 Prevent unwanted litters
🐱 Reduce the number of homeless and abandoned animals
🏠 Ease the burden on shelters and rescues
❤️ Provide important health and behavioral benefits for many pets
🐾 Create a healthier, more humane community
And remember: “My pet never goes outside” isn’t a guarantee. Doors get left open. Gates get loose. Pets escape. It only takes one unexpected adventure to result in an unexpected litter.
Being a responsible pet owner means providing food, shelter, veterinary care, love—and taking steps to prevent unwanted litters.
If cost is keeping you from getting your pet fixed, please don’t simply give up on the idea. Check out local spay and neuter resources: https://humanesocietysalemin.org/spay%2Fneuter-programs
Every spay matters. Every neuter matters. Every prevented litter makes a difference.
Please be part of the solution. ❤️
Spay. Neuter. Love them for life. 🐾
