The pups weren’t the only ones that got treats at Paws on the Bricks. We enjoyed Kona Ice and Heavenly Hot Dogs. Thanks for taking care of us!

Pups of all shapes and sizes were so excited to join us at our first Paws On The Bricks event. A good time was had by all. Thanks to all of the pawrents that brought their fur babies to play. Also, big thanks to Mayor Green and his crew for organizing and setting up this event. It was a howling success and we hope to be able to make this an annual event.

🐾❄️ WINTER IS COMING! ARE YOUR OUTDOOR CATS READY? ❄️🐾

Cold, wet winter weather will be here before we know it! If you feed or care for outdoor community cats, NOW is the time to start thinking about how they’ll stay warm, dry, and protected this winter. 🐈❤️

Thanks to the generosity of our wonderful volunteers, the Humane Society of Washington County has been collecting donated coolers throughout the year and transforming them into cozy, insulated winter shelters for outdoor cats!

🎉 AND WE’RE GIVING THEM AWAY FOR FREE! 🎉

📍 Paws on the Bricks – Brick Street, just off the Salem Square

📅 Friday, October 23, 2026

⏰ 6:00–8:00 PM

💲 Absolutely FREE – While supplies last!

These shelters provide outdoor cats with a warm, dry place to escape the wind, rain, snow, and freezing temperatures.

If you’re caring for community cats, please stop by and pick up a shelter to help keep them safe this winter.

❤️ A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who donated coolers and to the volunteers who worked to turn them into winter homes for cats in need!

🐾 Please SHARE this post! Help us reach the people in Washington County who feed and care for outdoor cats. Every cat deserves a safe place to escape the winter cold!
